Remember that the temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

Don’t underestimate the power of Satan, but don’t overestimate it either. He can tempt you, but he cannot force you to sin. He can dangle the bait in front of you, but he cannot make you take it. The Bible promises that no temptation will ever be too strong for you to resist. Even in times of heavy temptation, God provides a way out. In these times of temptation, the Holy Spirit gives you the power and the wisdom to find the way of escape.
