Be Fruitful As You Multiply

Be Fruitful As You Multiply

The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23

Our little company was growing by leaps and bounds. We were unstoppable. Goals were achieved and new objectives were set.

Look out, future—here we come.

When you drive fast, it’s best to look far down the road so you can anticipate whatever might stand in the way. In doing so, you tend to lose sight of what’s close at hand.

We had unknowingly run over some of our employees by not treating them with the respect they deserved. We hadn’t listened to their concerns.

Our CEO realized this and challenged the leadership team to study this passage in Galatians. He encouraged each of us to “produce a bumper crop of fruit” in our relationships with the staff.

I spend a lot of time in front of the computer, so I typed each of the words into my screen-saver program and was constantly reminded of my need to grow healthy fruit.

Be fruitful as you multiply.
