Sure Outcome

Read Proverbs 8

[Wisdom says,] “I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me.”

Proverbs 8:17

Fifty-one weeks, three days. That’s the average amount of time an individual spends in a lifetime looking for lost keys. Wouldn’t it be nice to know that once we began searching for a needed item, its location would be instantly revealed? No more wracking our brains to remember the last time we saw it, used it, or heard it. What time we would save from looking between sofa cushions or underneath beds. Instant gratification, guaranteed.

The Bible says that what the natural world cannot offer, the spiritual realm does. Those who seek for wisdom will surely find it. If we treasure wisdom, wisdom will prove invaluable in return. God will not withhold his counsel from us when we earnestly desire to have it—he promises to richly reward our efforts. Satisfaction, guaranteed. With a guarantee like that, what are we waiting for? Let the search begin!
