Praise From The Nations

Praise the LORD, all you nations.

Praise him, all you people of the earth.

For he loves us with unfailing love;

the LORD’s faithfulness endures forever.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 117:1-2

The Lord is God over every nation, and he deserves our praise. Psalm 117, the shortest chapter in the Bible, is a simple prayer of praise encouraging people from the ends of the earth to proclaim God’s greatness. The psalmist says that we should praise him because he showers his love and faithfulness upon his people.

Imagine—one day in heaven, people from every nation, every tribe, and every language group will bow before the Lord and sing his praises (Revelation 7:9-10)! Join with God’s people around the globe in offering praise to the risen King.
