FATHER GOD, I realize I could use some help when it comes to money matters, and I ask you to guide me as I

develop a rightful attitude toward money;

work to create a long-term financial plan;

develop new disciplines in order to follow my financial plan;

align my value system with my spending system;

learn more about the tactical execution of managing our finances;

instill in my children a healthy attitude toward and good habits of financial stewardship.

Example: This week, I will schedule an appointment with a financial planner to determine my fiscal fitness.

Father God, all gifts are from you. Thank you for all you have provided me. Guide me as I work to improve my attitude toward money and material things. Help me to become a faithful steward of all you have entrusted to me. I pray that you will enlighten me with ways to leave a legacy of healthy attitudes and God-honoring ways to manage money to my children. Amen.
