Digging In The Dirt

Digging in the Dirt

FATHER GOD, please open my eyes and remind me to

walk the rows to improve my communication with others;

walk the rows to better learn the strengths of my coworkers;

walk the rows to encourage my coworkers and family;

hoe my weeds and communicate my mission and vision to my business partners;

feed my customers with the food they enjoy;

share my bumper crop of talents and resources with others;

boldly and wisely engage in risk by walking in faith;

learn to seek wise counsel, being willing to plant by the moon;

remember I’m either growing or dying—help me focus on growth;

bloom where I’m planted.

Actions I will take:

Example: Today, I will recommit myself to bloom where God’s planted me and approach my day with a positive attitude!

Father, I praise you for the bountiful garden you provide for me. I thank you for my many opportunities and pray that you will guide me to use my gifts abundantly that you might be honored with my work and my life. Please allow me to flourish—to bloom where you have planted me even when the conditions are not the most favorable to this camellia bush. Amen.
