FATHER GOD, I want to reclaim the joy of life, and I realize that I

am wrapped up and bound in negativity and self-oppression;

often take life itself for granted;

am not fully utilizing my strengths and talents for your glory;

have allowed my fear to trump your direction.

Father, the maker of miracles, the giver of life, I praise you for my every breath. I pray that you will fortify my spirit with courage and bold determination to put my strengths and talents to the test, that they may bring you joy and honor. I ask that you unwrap me from my negative thoughts and bless me with a spirit to live a meaningful life. Amen.
