God Heals Completely
God Heals Completely
Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. Psalm 103:2-3
Reading, and applying, Psalm 103 is a great way to begin the healing process. We should always look to the Lord first. And we should praise him with every fiber of our being—body, soul, and spirit.
If we do this even in the midst of our greatest suffering, we can be confident that whatever happens is in God’s hands, and our healing will always be complete.
Often we think that our bodies must be healed in order for our prayers to be answered. But if we look to God’s perfect will and trust his perfect wisdom, we will begin to grasp—and feel—how much he loves us, and we will begin to understand, and accept, that sometimes his plan looks different from ours. Can you praise him even though you haven’t yet seen the healing you desire?
God is omniscient. He sees beyond the here and now, and he gives us glimpses of eternity. In our forever life with him, we will see that he not only forgives our sins, but he also heals all our diseases. There is always hope for the future with the knowledge that one day we will be healed and whole—mind, soul, and body.
