The Great Commission

When Jesus was getting ready to leave his disciples for the final time, he had some last words for them. Jesus told them to go to all nations, preach the gospel, and make more disciples so the Good News could spread farther.

God calls all believers to be his followers and to spread the gospel. He wants you to share the gospel where you are right now. How can you do that while you’re still a kid?

• Ask a friend to join you for church. Offer to give your friend a ride with your family. He or she may be more likely to come.
• If you can’t get a classmate or neighbor to join you for Sunday church, invite him or her for a fun church activity such as a game night or fall festival.
• If you have to give an oral book report at school, read and report on a Christian suspense or mystery book that others in your class might find interesting.
• If you have to write a report about someone in history, pick a famous missionary or preacher.
• Look for a way to include creation in your science fair project.
• Talk to your parents about other ways to share your faith in your classroom or community.
