Have you ever been in a situation where you didn’t know what to do? Maybe a friend was angry with you, and you didn’t know how to fix the problem. Perhaps you had to choose between two activities and didn’t know which was the best choice. There are all kinds of situations where you might need some advice.

When you need answers, you usually turn to someone you can trust. Today’s verse calls Jesus “Wonderful Counselor.” Why is Jesus the best one to talk to about your problems?

Jesus created you, so he is the one who knows you best. He knows why you feel the way you do and what it will take to fix your problems.

Jesus loved you enough to die for you. He wants you to have a relationship with him. He cares about you more than anyone else does.

Jesus has the answers. He reveals them to you through the Bible, your parents, your Sunday school teacher, and your pastor. He has also gifted some Christians to be counselors who are able to help you sort through your problems. But you can always ask Jesus for the answers.

Sometimes life can be tough, and you aren’t sure where to go for answers. Start by asking Jesus, and then your parents, so they can help you find the solutions you need.
