The Best Is Yet To Come
The Best Is Yet to Come
Those who have been ransomed by the LORD will return. They will enter Jerusalem singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be filled with joy and gladness.
Isaiah 35:10
DO YOU EVER wish you could sing a little better? That you could worship God with more fervency and enthusiasm?
Many Christians struggle with those issues as they attend church, try to share with others, and attempt to live the kinds of lives that glorify God. The struggle is often tremendous. With all the pressures most people face today, we often give in to small temptations, and we end up regretting and feeling guilty.
One day, though, when we reach heaven, that entire struggle will be over. We will be perfect, never again to make a mistake or sin. It’s not that we’ll be turned into spiritual zombies, either. It’s simply that God will give us the power through our new spiritual bodies, minds, wills, and environment to live lives that are perfect.
If you’ve been ransomed (saved) by the Lord, his promise is that the best is yet to come.
