Praise For Answered Prayer

1 Samuel 2:1-2

My heart rejoices in the LORD!

The LORD has made me strong.

Now I have an answer for my enemies;

I rejoice because you rescued me.

No one is holy like the LORD!

There is no one besides you;

there is no Rock like our God.

Lord, I remember a time in my life when I desperately needed hope. I found it while reading the story of Hannah, the mother of Samuel, the greatest Old Testament judge in Israel. Hannah was straight-up honest with you about her bitterness and anguish, and yet her response is a beautiful example for me. She poured out the troubles of her heart to you. Hannah learned that you are a God who listens, cares, and can be trusted. I needed to know that in my life, Father. Thank you, God, for using Hannah’s story to impress me to trust you in my story.
