Overwhelmed

Psalm 61:1-3

O God, listen to my cry!

Hear my prayer!

From the ends of the earth,

I cry to you for help

when my heart is overwhelmed.

Lead me to the towering rock of safety,

for you are my safe refuge,

a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me.

God of the universe, no matter where we go or how overwhelmed we feel, we’re grateful that you see us, listen to us, and help us. May we cling tightly to you and trust you to lead us out of our difficulties and into a better place. Thank you for being our safe refuge, Father.
