Busy Day At Work

LORD, today will be a very busy day. Meetings are scheduled, problems need to be solved, and certain tasks must be completed. No doubt there will be interruptions, which sometimes throw me off balance. I haven’t even begun working, and I feel overwhelmed just thinking about it all.

Lord, calm my spirit and relieve my anxiety so I can think clearly. Give me wisdom to perceive what’s most important and perseverance to complete the projects I begin. You have always been there in the past. Many times, you have intervened and brought unexpected blessings out of difficult challenges. Help me to remember those blessings and to be a good and faithful servant today. Amen.
