God called Gideon to save the nation of Israel from the cruelty of the Midianites, even though Gideon’s clan was the weakest in his tribe and he was the least influential in his household. The Bible is full of people who felt reluctant and unqualified to carry out the tasks God had called them to. Whenever you feel weak, fearful, underqualified, or incapable, remember that God is speaking over you these same words he spoke to Gideon. Use whatever strength you have toward the task, and it will be enough. You can be sure that if God asks you to do something for him, he will demonstrate his great power through you.
