Magnificent Prayer #74
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not a straw whether they be clergymen or laymen; such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of heaven on earth. God does nothing but in answer to prayer.

Pray About It: As Christians we have a calling. We are to “shake the gates of hell” through our prayer and to further God’s kingdom on earth. Both of these are done through prayer and the resulting action that follows prayer. For when these violent prayers are heard and answered by God, there comes a parting of the waters, a way for action to take place. It happens all the time. Man prays, God moves, then man moves.
Prayers and pains through faith in Jesus Christ will do anything!
