Magnificent Prayer #69
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
Galatians 5:25
The major conflict in the believer’s life is to maintain an unbroken attitude of reliance upon the Spirit. Only in that way can the Spirit possess and vitalize every human faculty, emotion and choice. We cannot meet tomorrow’s issues today. To walk is to take one step after another and this demands a constant appropriation of the power of God. That is spirituality. That is the Spirit-filled life—the unhindered manifestation of the indwelling Spirit.

Pray About It: One goal of prayer is to aid in maintaining our reliance on the Spirit. As we walk one step at a time, so we need to learn to lean on God one hour at a time.
Remind God today that He has promised His Spirit is will be in us forever—and that includes today. And then, throughout the day, keep in step with Him.
Where there is much prayer, there will be much of the Spirit. Where there is much of the Spirit there will be everlasting prayer.
