Magnificent Prayer #289
And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

When God has something very great to accomplish for His church, it is His will that there should precede it, the extraordinary prayers of His people. And it is revealed that when God is about to accomplish great things for His Church, He will begin by remarkably pouring out the spirit of grace and supplication.

Pray About It: The sign that God wants to do something great in a nation is that He first gets His church on its knees. God is doing that. People are praying across America and around the world. We must also be watching and expecting Him to do great things in our homes, churches, and nation.
When God intends great mercy for His people, the first thing He does is to set them a-praying.
