Magnificent Prayer #269
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9
Consider how great a privilege it is, when angels are present, and archangels throng around, when cherubim and seraphim encircle with their blaze the throne, that a mortal man or woman may approach with unrestrained confidence, and converse with Almighty God Himself. Wherever else and whenever else has such an honor as this ever been conferred?

Pray About It: There’s no question about it: that sinful man now has access to God Himself is awesome. Christ was our great High Priest, who having accomplished His work of redemption, sat down at the right hand of the Father. We now have access that, prior to Christ, would have caused the death of the interloper.
We need no priest or intermediary—we have all the access to our heavenly Father as a child has to his own loving earthly father.
Pray today as close to the throne as you can come. You have a right as His child to do so.
We talk about heaven being so far away. It is within speaking distance to those who belong there.
