Magnificent Prayer #240
Magnificent Prayer #240
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Psalm 119:10 KJV
Now, O Christian, cease for awhile from your work, withdraw yourself from your stormy thoughts, forget your weary and burdensome struggling, give yourself for a time to God, and rest calmly in Him.
Leave all around you where God is not, and where you wilt find no help from Him; go into the inner chamber of your heart, and shut the door behind you.

Pray About It: Entering into prayer is a leaving behind of our earthly duties for a while. And when we return to them, we come to them refreshed and prepared.
Jesus prayed and fulfilled His mission on earth. We too have a mission and it can only be discovered in our times of prayer. And there too we gain the strength to complete our mission.
All earthly things With earth will fade away;
Prayer grasps eternity. Then pray, always pray!
