Magnificent Prayer #132
There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the LORD your God has blessed you.
Deuteronomy 12:7
There come times when I have nothing more to tell God. If I were to continue to pray in words, I would have to repeat what I have already said. At such times it is wonderful to say to God, “May I be in Thy presence, Lord? I have nothing more to say to Thee, but I do love to be in Thy presence.”

Pray About It: We don’t always need to come to God with our list of wants. Sometimes we just feel prayed out, or we sense a need just to be with God, asking nothing, saying nothing. This is good.
Today, simply ask, “May I be in Thy presence, Lord?”
He will say yes.
What would you think of a man who was content to remain in the outer halls of Windsor Castle when he was invited inside to have a feast with the King? That’s the way some Christians are: they spend their life exploring the lobbies when the King and the feast are waiting in the upper room!
