Moving On

Life isn’t trouble-free. Trouble often finds us, even if we’re trying to avoid it. And for anyone who is pushing the envelope and maximizing their full potential, there’s no guarantee that hardship won’t show up too.

But so will the Lord, He promises. Life is hard, but God is good.

Each day seems to bring something new to each of us—sometimes we welcome whatever comes with open arms, and sometimes we do our best to hold it back. All of it can be used by God for our good and His glory; how it affects us depends in large part on whether we believe that or not.

God will always have a hold on us—no matter what we face.

His Promises

I have called you back from the ends of the earth,

saying, “You are my servant.”

For I have chosen you

and will not throw you away.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.

Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you.

I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

“I will give you back your health

and heal your wounds,” says the LORD.

But all who listen to me will live in peace,

untroubled by fear of harm.
