Get Your Eyes Checked

Our vision is influenced by how we see the world. Do we see it through the lens of the hope and joy that our faith in Christ brings? Do we see it through the lens that knows we’ll be in heaven for eternity, that our potential in God’s hands is unlimited, and that the challenges of the moment are but a blink of an eye in eternity? Or do we see the world through a lens of fear and despair and see our potential as limited? I pray not.

What is your vision? Can you see the clear path God has set before you? Can you see past the distractions to where God is directing you? May your answers be yes, but make sure you have regular checkups.

His Promises

Your eye is a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light.

We don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

The Holy Spirit . . . will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
