Unafraid - He Holds My Hand
Unafraid If God is good and loving (and He is), and if God is all-powerful (and He is), and if God has a purpose and a plan that includes His children (and He does), and if we are His children (as I hope you are), then there is no reason to fear anything. David Jeremiah Fear is a natural response to living in a cursed world filled with imperfect, self-centered, and thoughtless people, but I want you to live without fear. Imagine what your life would be like if you lived unafraid—not afraid of people, suffering, failure, global turmoil, or the future. Envision My peace covering you as I provide a place of safety, confidence, and protection. When you put your trust in Me, you have a sure hope, a firm foundation, and an eternal home. Meditate on these words: “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you” (Deuteronomy 31:8). Guard your heart against panic or fear. When I hold your hand, you don’t need to be fainthearted and you do not need to tremble. You and I are on a first-name basis, and we are intimately connected. I will not leave you without protection. Cling to these words: “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today” (Exodus 14:13). God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
