Jewels
Jewels
We can’t shine on the outside unless God’s power is at work on the inside. No matter how much work we put into the outside, it will be worthless unless we are plugged into the true power source.

The day you put your faith in Me, I wrote your name in the Book of Life. Remember that you belong to Me. “‘They shall be Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘on the day that I make them My jewels’” (Malachi 3:17, NKJV). I see your exceptional hidden characteristics and all the potential I’ve placed within you. You’ve been buffeted during times of suffering, but I am shaping and polishing you into a gem of magnificent quality. When you are in My hands, even in the midst of adversity, you shine like a precious jewel.
The refining process is just that—a process—and it doesn’t happen overnight. It’s the daily routine of allowing Me to transform you by renewing your mind as you dwell in My presence. Jewels are precious things, costly treasures. As you and I spend more and more time together, I’m watching you start to sparkle, like a star in the sky (Philippians 2:15, NIV). I’ve noticed your humble submission to My will for your life, even though your journey has not been easy. Jewels like you are scarce, and as a proud Father, I can’t help but brag on you. “The LORD will hold you in his hand for all to see—a splendid crown in the hand of God” (Isaiah 62:3).
On that day the LORD their God will rescue his people, just as a shepherd rescues his sheep. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.
Zechariah 9:16
