A triumphant Christian life is only possible when you make the reading and study of My Word a significant part of your life. When you spend time with Me in this way, you’ll discover the benefits of this level of intimacy. You’ll know you’re not alone, and you’ll be reminded of My deep and abiding love for you.

The Bible will also provide you with important instruction and personal conviction. The apostle Paul wrote, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right” (2 Timothy 3:16). My Word will give you victory over sin; it will help you conquer fear; it will give you renewed hope as you endure personal pain. Most of all, it will guide you in the way of truth and provide answers to your tough questions.

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
