Generous God

We serve a generous God. He delights in giving us opportunities beyond our capabilities. He has promised to equip us, and remain with us through each bend in the road.

Your life has taken many turns, and the journey you travel now has brought you face-to-face with a trying bend in the road. Take time to remember My faithfulness. You have been saved by grace, and that’s My gift to you. Now it’s time for you to enter into the benefits of being My child. I take delight in giving you opportunities that far exceed what you think you can do. When you do My work in this world, I’ll supply all your needs. That way you can look back and say, “It was in God’s power that this work was accomplished,” and “It was by the mercy of God that this impossible situation was resolved.”

The secret to experiencing My generosity is this: “Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me” (John 15:4). The closer you are to Me, the more you will have the supernatural strength, wisdom, and power to handle whatever problems come your way. And when you make mistakes, know that I have infinite mercy and My love for you is great. I will equip you for every unexpected turn life takes. I will be with you, and I will give you all the courage you need to make it to your final destination.

You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.
