Worship Is Remaining Faithful Through Trials

Worship Is Remaining Faithful through Trials

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!

Habakkuk 3:17-18

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

Romans 5:3-4

Is your worship of God dependent upon his blessings in your life? How easy or difficult has it been for you to worship God through trials? Reflect on a previous trial. What things can you worship God for as you look back?
