Who Can Teach Me?

I thought, “Those who are older should speak, for wisdom comes with age.” But there is a spirit within people, the breath of the Almighty within them, that makes them intelligent. Sometimes the elders are not wise. Sometimes the aged do not understand justice.

Job 32:7-9

A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice.

1 Corinthians 12:7-8

Picture yourself in ten, twenty, or thirty years. Consider three character traits that you would like to have then. Whom do you know with these traits who could help you become that kind of person?

If no names come to mind, make it part of your daily prayer to ask God to send people into your life who can teach you these character traits.
