When There Is No Way Out

When There Is No Way Out

We think you ought to know . . . about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead.

2 Corinthians 1:8-9

Recall a problem in which you felt you had no way out. How did God reveal himself during that time?

What is the biggest trial confronting you now?

To exercise your need to rely on God, kneel in prayer and clench your fists.

Now slowly open your hands, palms up, as a symbol of releasing your problem to God.

Ask him to help you wait patiently, and watch how he will work in this situation.
