Talk about Anything

Peter said to Jesus, “Explain to us . . .”

Matthew 15:15

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Philippians 4:6

Learn to bring everything into your prayer life—even your distractions. Sit quietly in the presence of the Lord for a minute or so.

If distractions come to mind, talk to God about those. Remember, you are learning to talk with God, so talk to him about anything, even if it seems trivial or you are ashamed of what you are thinking.

If you feel free to share something with your closest friend, how much more freedom should you feel to share with God, your Creator, who loves you unconditionally?
