You have heard the law that says, “Love your neighbor” and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:43-45

Use the questions below to help you prepare to pray for this person. Ask the Lord,

• What do you want my prayer to be for this person?
• Is there anything in me that is getting in the way of praying for this person?
• Is there anything you want me to say or do on behalf of this person that would reflect your love for them?
