He counts the stars and calls them all by name. How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension!

Psalm 147:4-5

God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. . . . The Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

Philippians 2:13; 1 John 4:4

God spoke the universe into existence, and his great power is displayed throughout his Word. This means that we can pray boldy and with great expectations, because nothing is too hard for our God.

With this reality in mind, ask yourself, Do I believe God has ultimate power over everything? When have I experienced or seen God’s power in my life? How might my prayers and attitude look different if I really believe in God’s great and unlimited power?
