Listen And Learn

Listen and Learn

If you listen to correction, you grow in understanding.

Proverbs 15:32

You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.

James 1:19

Ask a trusted, honest family member or close friend whether you have been a good listener to them in the past.

Do you give them space to talk?

Does your body language show you are engaged?

Do you ask questions that reflect you have heard and understood what they have been saying?

Sometimes good listening requires self-restraint, so welcome their feedback by listening without interrupting, getting defensive, or trying to explain yourself.
