Faithfulness
Faithfulness
My Question for God
What impact does my faithfulness to God have on others?
A Moment with God
Joseph assigned the best land of Egypt—the region of Rameses—to his father and his brothers, and he settled them there, just as Pharaoh had commanded. And Joseph provided food for his father and his brothers in amounts appropriate to the number of their dependents, including the smallest children.
Genesis 47:11-12
Each generation tells of your faithfulness to the next.
Isaiah 38:19
It is both the privilege and obligation of each generation to reveal to the next the faithfulness of God. God honored Joseph’s faithfulness by blessing him and his family. God’s blessings for your faithfulness often overflow to those around you. Likewise, you are often the benefactor of other people’s faithfulness to God. You can leave a rich heritage by building this awareness into the minds of your children and grandchildren. When the words and actions of your life “sing a duet” of faithfulness to God, you give your children an example of faithfulness to treasure throughout their lifetimes. This is of far more lasting value than any other kind of inheritance we might leave behind.
Divine Promise
The love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those who obey his commandments!
Psalm 103:17-18
