Challenges

Challenges

MY QUESTION for GOD

How do challenges shape my life?

A MOMENT with GOD

My ambition has always been to preach the Good News where the name of Christ has never been heard. . . . I have been following the plan spoken of in the Scriptures, where it says, “Those who have never been told about him will see, and those who have never heard of him will understand.” In fact, my visit to you has been delayed so long because I have been preaching in these places.

Romans 15:20-22

We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. And he did rescue us.

2 Corinthians 1:8-10

Paul’s goal to preach the gospel in new places continually brought him new challenges. These challenges caused greater growth in his relationship with God. God has called you to do something for him. Find out what it is, and accept the challenge of stepping out in faith to do it. Challenges force you to follow God’s leading into uncharted waters so that you learn to trust him. Then you can accomplish his unique purpose for you. It is truly a divine moment when you realize exactly what God wants you to do, and it is often through challenges that God makes his plan clear to you.

DIVINE PROMISE

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God . . . is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. 1 Chronicles 28:20
