How can brokenness be a good thing?

A MOMENT with GOD

The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.

Psalm 51:17

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

Psalm 147:3

Brokenness is the awareness of your full dependence on God. It signifies the breaking of your pride and self-sufficiency. Brokenness often comes through circumstances that overwhelm you or through sin that reduces you to nothing. You realize that the only way out of your mess is through God’s help. Those who are open about their brokenness are often influential in helping others. If you have been broken, allow God to use your experience to help others overcome their struggles.

DIVINE PROMISE

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34:18
