Perseverance
Perseverance
MY QUESTION for GOD
Why is perseverance important?
A MOMENT with GOD
Let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
Galatians 6:9
Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.
John 15:5
Perseverance leads to a productive life. Giving up leads to the frustration of unfinished work. When you persevere, you can look back with satisfaction on a full and fruitful life.
It would be good for you to finish what you started a year ago. Last year you were the first who wanted to give, and you were the first to begin doing it. Now you should finish what you started. Let the eagerness you showed in the beginning be matched now by your giving.
2 Corinthians 8:10-11
Perseverance validates your promises and demonstrates your credibility.
Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
Matthew 7:7
God honors perseverance in prayer. All perseverance is wrapped in expectant hope for the future. Perseverance in prayer demonstrates your faith that God is listening, that he cares, and that he will respond.
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
Romans 5:3-4
Perseverance helps you deal with adversity by making you stronger. Without adversity, there would be nothing to exercise the muscles of your faith. Ask God to give you a glimpse of what he wants you to learn as you persevere through difficult times.
Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer.
2 Corinthians 1:6
Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.
1 Peter 5:9
Perseverance encourages others to be patient, work hard, and remain faithful. When they see the benefits of a life of perseverance, they will want the same, now and for eternity.
DIVINE PROMISE
DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS, NEVER GET TIRED OF DOING GOOD. 2 Thessalonians 3:13
