Flexibility
Flexibility
MY QUESTION for GOD
How can I be more flexible when God calls me to do something?
A MOMENT with GOD
A Jewish man was traveling on a trip . . . and he was attacked by bandits. They . . . beat him up, and left him half dead beside the road. . . . A despised Samaritan came along, and when he saw the man, he felt compassion for him. Going over to him, the Samaritan soothed his wounds with olive oil and wine and bandaged them. Then he put the man on his own donkey and took him to an inn, where he took care of him.
Luke 10:30, 33-34
Be willing to adapt your schedule to respond to someone in need.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Use God’s Word and prayer as the tools to prepare you for what God has in store for you. They also prepare you to adapt to life’s changes, when trials and crises come your way.
I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.”
Isaiah 6:8
Listen for, recognize, and willingly respond to God’s voice in your life.
Mary responded, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.” And then the angel left her.
Luke 1:38
Be willing to be used by God whenever he calls and for whatever tasks he calls you to do.
The Lord spoke to Jonah a second time: “Get up and go to the great city of Nineveh, and deliver the message I have given you.” This time Jonah obeyed the Lord’s command and went to Nineveh.
Jonah 3:1-3
Be obedient to God every day. Whether or not he calls you to do something else, you will already be doing his will and following his call.
DIVINE PROMISE
THE WISDOM FROM ABOVE IS FIRST OF ALL PURE. IT IS ALSO PEACE LOVING, GENTLE AT ALL TIMES, AND WILLING TO YIELD TO OTHERS.
