MY QUESTION for GOD

Is God interested in the success of my business?

A MOMENT with GOD

A Jew named Aquila . . . had recently arrived from Italy with his wife, Priscilla. . . . Paul lived and worked with them, for they were tentmakers just as he was.

Acts 18:2-3

You know that these hands of mine have worked to supply my own needs and even the needs of those who were with me. And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard.

Acts 20:34-35

To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.

Ecclesiastes 5:19

Paul, Aquila, and Priscilla were Christian leaders in ministry and business. They provide us with an example of how Christians can use their business and its proceeds to serve God. God honors integrity, excellence, and hard work. While these character traits don’t necessarily bring financial blessings, you can be sure that God will take special interest in any enterprise whose leaders acknowledge him and faithfully live by his standards. It is truly a divine moment when you see God acting on your behalf, even in the area of business. When you are faithful in your work and God blesses your efforts, the impact of your business will be far more significant than just a strong balance sheet.

DIVINE CHALLENGE

WORK WILLINGLY AT WHATEVER YOU DO, AS THOUGH YOU WERE WORKING FOR THE LORD RATHER THAN FOR PEOPLE. REMEMBER THAT THE LORD WILL GIVE YOU AN INHERITANCE AS YOUR REWARD, AND THAT THE MASTER YOU ARE SERVING IS CHRIST.   Colossians 3:23-24
