How can leaders use God’s Word as a leadership tool?

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

Scripture not only shapes leaders, but it also gives them the method for shaping the people they lead. God’s Word directs the path of your spiritual journey, reveals sin, exposes the foolishness of worldly wisdom, shows you your need for God, gives you correction, shows you to the best way to live, and teaches you how to act in the power of the Spirit to remain faithful. God’s Word provides the basis for your decision making, your strategy, your conduct, and your interaction with others. Leaders who intentionally teach, discipline, and disciple others with clear direction from God’s Word will shape people in the most effective and productive ways.
