Deeper Life #351

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

—Ephesians 2:8

GOD LIFTED ME OUT OF sin, infidelity, inability, weakness, disobedience, and wrath, to the heavenly places where Christ lives in the fullness of His power. Oh, the wonder of being lifted into that inviolable place! God raises me up to that place even now.

“[Sitting] together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” is manifested in our lives as we look to the Creator and see in that marvelous Being our divine Head. Thank God, when He raises us up, He manifests in us the very mind that was in Christ Jesus—unhurried, calm, steady, and strong.

Prayer Thought: The peace of Christ strengthens, empowers, and gives assurance to me.
