Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.

—Acts 10:34

IN ACTS 10, PETER SAYS a wonderful thing about Jesus Christ. Peter has just awakened to the fact that God is no respecter of persons, and so he resolved to preach Jesus to all sorts of people.

You will always find in the New Testament that, when people are being led by the Spirit of God, they never preach their own convictions. They preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified! Peter had never preached like that before. He had always talked to the Jews about Jesus Christ. As soon as he came into contact with people who were not Jews, and who were not religious, the Spirit of God made him present Jesus to them as well.

All people need to know Jesus as the One who suffered for them. He is no respecter of persons.
