Deeper Life #167

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

—Genesis 2:7

EVERY CORPUSCLE OF BLOOD, EVERY nerve, every sinew, and every muscle of Adam’s body became the temple that could manifest an exact harmony with God and manifest the image of God in perfect faith and love. Angels can manifest the image of God only in what we call “bodiless spirits.” There is only one creature who can manifest the life of God on this earth, and that is man.

Satan attempted to thwart that purpose, and then laughed his devilish laugh against God. But the Bible says that God will laugh last. God is on His throne. He rules the universe. He is almighty. He is God! Put your trust in Him.

Prayer Thought: I adore and worship You, O God.
