Need A Miracle?
Need A Miracle?
This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.
John 2:11
A couple sits on opposite ends of the couch, each of them lonely. What was once a vital marriage has digressed into something neither of them ever intended. They love each other, but they both know restoring the marriage they once had would take a miracle.
Fortunately for them, and the millions like them, a miracle is not a far stretch for our God. In fact, Jesus’ first miracle recorded in Scripture was performed in a home at a wedding (John 2:1–11). He came by invitation to the very ceremony where marriage is established—a reminder to us that God cares very deeply for families.
If we aren’t careful, we might think God had abandoned the institution of marriage and the importance of the home altogether. Browbeaten with statistics of marital failure, many couples forget who authored the marriage relationship in the first place.
Does your home need a miracle? Invite Christ into every room. Make Him the foundation of each relationship that is built within its walls. Like the water turned to wine at the wedding in Cana, Christ’s power can transform hurt into harmony.
