Let Freedom Ring!

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” So states America’s Declaration of Independence. A foundational truth, being watered down in history textbooks with every succeeding generation, is that America’s Founding Fathers saw liberty as a God-given right.

America is not the symbol of liberty to the whole world by accident. This nation was designed to reflect, corporately and individually, a principle found only in the Bible—that man was created to be free. Nothing was to hinder the creature’s relationship with his Creator—not kings, or governments, or tyranny, or the will of man. In a day when American soldiers are defending our right to live free from terrorism, it is incumbent upon us to thank God for a land in which freedom’s bell has rung for more than two hundred years. Will prayers of thanksgiving for freedom be heard in your home today?

Those who take freedom for granted are also in danger of taking for granted the Author of freedom Himself.
