God Strengthens You

Breathe Deep and Know: God is gracious and kind, and He will be your strength through every day.

With the dawn of each new day comes the gift of renewed hope and strength. As the sun breaks through over the horizon and the darkness of night is pierced with bright rays of its light, so the strength of God can break through our weakness, piercing our distress with bright rays of hope.

You may not feel it right now—you may be weary from a lingering season of sorrow or stress, you may be struggling to hold onto hope in the midst of pain or discouragement, you may be experiencing intense anxiety or fear. But your strength doesn’t come from how you’re feeling but rather from Who you’re trusting.

Pray this breath prayer to God today. Ask Him to be your strength and salvation in the midst of whatever trouble or suffering or stress you’re facing. Wait for Him and rest in Him and trust His heart for you today.

LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.
