God Lights Your Path

Breathe Deep and Know: No matter how dark the path ahead of you, God can light it up and lead you through.

Is the path ahead of you unclear? Are you worried about a big decision? Unsure of what your next step should be? Are you anxious about where the path of your life is leading?

Fear activates our fight, flight, or freeze response. Sometimes our fears can keep us from moving forward. We become frozen in uncertainty, paralyzed by anxiety. Sometimes fear can scare us into running ahead without even thinking about the direction we’re going. Or we might run in the opposite direction to get past the discomfort as quickly as possible.

Take some time today to give your uncertainty to God. Open the Bible and ask God for wisdom as you take the next step. Let the light of His Word guide your feet. Whether you are tempted to flee from a decision, run ahead without thinking, or you’re frozen in fear and unsure of what to do, try slowing down and taking just one small step today. Take a single step of faith, trusting that His Word will light your path one step at a time.
