Breathe Deep and Know: Your future is not a surprise to God. He has already gone before you and He knows what lies ahead. You can trust Him to guide you.

Is your anxiety ever rooted in a fear of the future? Are you worried about decisions you have to make or unsure of what path to follow? Maybe you’re worried about:

• what college to attend

• what job to apply for

• what city to move to

• what relationship to invest in

• what house to buy

• what kind of schooling is best for your kids

These and countless other choices can fill our minds with anxiety and dysregulate our bodies as we worry about making the wrong choice.

This prayer points your heart back to God and reminds you to turn to Him for direction. The more we align our souls with Christ, the more we will be in tune with the peace that comes from following Him, and the more we will recognize whether the steps we’re taking are in line with His will for our lives. Ask Him for help today, and keep turning to Him as you walk forward in faith.

Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow.
