Provision

Provision

The English word provision might be translated “pre-vision.” It means “to see beforehand.” That’s what God promises us. He sees the future, and He has already made a way before we even realize that a need is coming. It comforts me to know that God sees things before I do and that nothing takes God by surprise. Whatever you are facing, you can trust in Jehovah-Jireh, your Provider. His “pre-vision” becomes your provision. He has gone before you and made a way long before you even knew the way would be blocked. The next time you find yourself confronted with a difficult situation, thank God that He has already been there and has already made a way for you. Thank Him for His “pre-vision,” then ask Him to show you His provision.

WHEN YOU’RE WONDERING WHERE THE PROVISION WILL COME FROM . . .

Don’t worry about these things, saying, “What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?” These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Matthew 6:31-34

This same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

WHEN YOU NEED TO TEACH YOUR CHILDREN A SIMPLE TRUTH ABOUT TRUST . . .

The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help.

He rescues them from all their troubles.

Psalm 34:17
